ABOUT SEM GIESBERS

Sem Giesbers is a 16-year-old racing talent who has been dedicated to motorsport since the age of seven. He first made his mark in sim racing, where he reached the highest level by the time he was fourteen, competing against elite drivers, including Max Verstappen. At fifteen, he obtained his official racing license and transitioned into real-world racing.

From his very first race in a real car, Sem has consistently finished in the top three. One of his early highlights came on only his third race day, when he managed to outperform Tom Coronel. a remarkable achievement that showcases both his potential and determination.

Professional to Real-World Motorsport

Sem Giesbers’ motorsport journey began behind the wheel of a simulator. From an early age, he immersed himself in competitive sim racing, developing precision, consistency, and racecraft at the highest virtual level. By the time he was ready to step into real-world racing at just 15 years old, Sem had already proven his talent on the global stage, achieving an iRating of 8000, placing him among the top 0.1% of sim racers worldwide.

During his sim racing career, Sem competed in some of the most prestigious endurance events virtually. He raced twice in the 24 Hours of Spa against elite competitors, including Max Verstappen, with a best overall finish of 20th out of 50 top teams. In addition, he contested the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, finishing 7th in the LMP2 class out of 13 professional teams.
